**Yield** 1 tray
**Prep Time** 15 minutes
**Make Time** ~45 minutes (plus cooling)
## Special Equipment
- Blender
- Mixer (high power)
- Baking shape/mold
- Parchment paper
## Ingredients
- 600g Apples (peeled and cut)
- 100 ml Water
- 40g Quick-soluble gelatin
- 1 tbsp Sugar (optional)
## Instructions
1. Wash, peel, and cut the apples into cubes.
2. Pour the water over the apples, place on medium heat, and simmer until tender (about 10-15 minutes).
3. Grind the cooked apples with a blender until smooth.
4. Add the gelatin to the warm puree and stir thoroughly.
5. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
6. Whip the mixture with a mixer on high power for about 20 minutes.
7. Once the mass has grown 2-3 times in size and turned white, pour everything into a shape lined with parchment paper.
## Notes
- **Regarding the whipping:** It may look like nothing is happening at first, but stick with it! Around the 20-minute mark, the transformation happens suddenly.
- The recipe works well without sugar, but add 1 tablespoon if you prefer a sweeter treat.
